"This coffee from Puerto Rico is as good as any coffee I've ever had. I roast my own and the first batch I kept it light and it was fine, but the 2nd batch I took it up to a full city + roast and it is fantastic. I wish you had more roasting notes and flavor notes about your coffee."

"I've purchased a variety of Green coffees. I roast my own and experiment with different roast levels. I've bought: Jamaica Blue Mountain, Hawaii Kona Extra Fancy, Maui Red Catual, Puerto Rico Yauco Selecto and Guatemala Antigua. Although Jamaica Blue and Hawaii Kona get most of the praise from coffee aficionados, I find the Maui Red Catual, Puerto Rico Yauco Selecto and Guatemala Antigua to be my favorites. I sometimes make a blend but find the single origin to be the best. Although I'm still trying different blends looking for the perfect cup. Gold Star also has the best prices and the shipping is quick. Great company!!!"

"I bought this to share with my co-workers. The aroma after the Yauco is roasted is amazing. Everyone at work loved it. We use a French Press for every brew so far. Its very smooth, no bitterness at all. Two of us noted a fruity or fruit-like component as well. I highly recommend these beans."
